  1. It’s true- I love reading older books- pick one at least 50 years or more and the language is so different and they used much bigger words- even in children’s books.

    • Yes, the children’s books of yesteryear are much more mature reading. Children were treated like small adults to the point they worked in the fields and mills like adults. And just think what this era we live in will look like to future generations. With the advent of the internet many new words have been coined. Tweeting, blogging… Some day these words will be considered old fashioned. Imagine!
