Anita was introduced to the romance genre through the stories written by Emily Loring and Grace Livingston Hill. Reading romances and a teenage crush on Bobby Sherman led her to rewrite episodes of the television show, HERE COMES THE BRIDES. (She always had a starring role, of course.)
As an adult, a flyer in the local library advertising a short story workshop caught Anita’s eye. She decided it was time to put the stories in her head on paper.
Several years and many short stories later, Anita took the plunge and wrote a full length manuscript in the fiction genre she loves to read — romance. The decision to write for the Christian market came after a Bible study on spiritual gifts and hearing God’s call in that direction.
